A Closer Look At the Guy Behind the Camera
Hi! I'm Nicolas, the founder of ShotbyNico. I am 17 years old and based out of Houston, Texas. I know I can be underestimated because of my age, but trust me, I can keep up with anyone twice my age. Ever since I was a kid, I was always fascinated with cameras. Being the son of a photographer definitely helped me get a head start in the photography world. I'm always willing to go to new places, meet new people, and try new things. Whatever you want me to shoot, I'll shoot it! Ever since I realized photography is for me, I haven't looked back. This is truly my most favorite thing to do in the entire world! Hope to do business with you soon!
My Hobbies
I've always loved to travel. whether it was solo, with my friends, or with my family, I'm always ready to experience somewhere new!
This one really isn't a hobby but anyone who knows me on a personal level will tell you that I'm crazy over Taco Bell. My dream would be to shoot for them.
I love to be outdoors! There's something about birds chirping or the tall grass moving with the breeze, it's a calming like no other. I'd say I'm more comfortable taking portraits outdoors.

You may be asking yourself these questions. After all, I don't even have a year of "actual experience" around my belt, but growing up surrounded by cameras has given me an understanding for photos. It's important to communicate back and forth on what the client wants versus what we can do (don't worry, 9/10 times we can do it). It's also important to value the customer during the photoshoot. I make sure the client feels 100% comfortable in front of the camera at all times. At the end of the day, it's what YOU want, and I make that very clear.
